Tam Jams Workshops/Master Classes
We are thrilled to once again offer a high quality dance convention at our studio, Tam Jams on March 17-18, 2012. Pre registration is required, and space is limited for these classes.

A Huge Welcome for Lawan Jackson and Becky Brewer

Please welcome Lawan Jackson and Becky Brewer to our managing and accounting staff. Lawan has been with us as a parent for over 10 years, and after her children left for college she began working here. Lawan has been an instrumental part of our Nutcracker ballet productions since the first year ten years ago, and is now also our artistic director for our ballet performances. Becky is a good friend of mine who has come on board to help manage the studio operations. You may also see Becky as the principal's secretary at Nixon elementary.

Our 13th Annual Nutcracker Ballet on December 2-4 was a huge success!

Stay tuned for Nutcracker 2012
All performances are at
Spangenberg Theatre, Gunn High School
the first weekend in December.

This Dance Connection Nutcracker Ballet features an all-student cast (along with some of our parents in adult roles) and is not to be missed! Students in the ballet are between the ages of 7-18 and have had at least one year of an “all ballet” class such as primary ballet or graded ballet. Support your local arts----it doesn’t get much more local than this, it’s a fabulous production for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Group Nutcracker

Tickets can be arranged for groups of 25 or more sitting together at a 25% discount when purchased in advance by 11/30. Get your group together, and call us at 852-0418 to purchase your group block of tickets which are not available online. Perfect for schools, preschools, scouting troops, playgroups...

Art and Cards by Christie Ginanni

Check out these two websites: www.fancyinkpress.com and www.christieginanni.com.

My daughter (and Dance Connection alum) is an artist who has just started her own letterpress company called Fancy Ink Press, and she creates beautiful hand-printed greeting cards and stationary on an antique press. Christie lives in Steamboat Springs, CO and recently got married. She is now Christie Stepan, but uses her maiden name for her art and website.

She was recently on the front page of the local newspaper

Christie also does fine art etchings and paintings with a naturalistic, yet modern touch. Thank you in advance for viewing! Cindy

Performing Company 2011-12

Under the direction of Tami Burton, our Performing Company continues a successful season of dance, performing, and competing. We have three teams, divided by age and level: Mini Team, Junior Team, Teen Team and Senior Team. The teams are involved in many exciting events, extra performances, conventions, and competitions. Our Performing Company had a record number of winning dancers, with several scholarship and award winners. Our spring Breast Cancer Benefit is one of the many wonderful things our Company produces.
